Romantic Bridal Shoot

I stumbled across this album yesterday while cleaning up files on my computer and was completely reminded how gorgeous this shoot came out! I love how each detail plays off of WHY Ranch venue's (very California but in Vegas) ambiance.

When choosing the style of make up, Taylor at Tailored Events wanted a very simple but elegant look that would enhance Katy's features while still feeling made up. I always try to recommend to my brides that sometimes less can be more, and with the right technique, will make your face pop without distracting from your dress.

Don't be afraid to go lighter than usual for wedding day make up. It looks awesome in photos!

I used the Viseart Sultry Muse Palette for her eyes with Ardell wispies cut just for the corners. Kept the skin very minimal with MAC Strobe Cream and YSL Touche Eclat. I then added Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Highlight, MAC Peaches blush, and a bit of Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. For lips we chose MAC Hue as we wanted a very fresh and luminous lip. To set I used Caudalie Beauty Elixir, one of my all time faves for that supermodel skin.

A little tip for wedding day, make sure you highlight your collarbone and tops of shoulders!

How seriously dreamy is this look? I am still so taken back by these photos, how the textures and variations of color in her bouquet work so unbelievably perfect with her make up. Fresh and glowy bridal looks are what I really aspire to give my clients and what I truly believe looks the best in photos! What do you think?
