Wedding/Special Event Prep

As we are almost coming to a close of wedding season 2017, I've gotten a ton of questions from brides/bridesmaids on what they should be doing pre wedding day in regards to their skincare. Other than the obvious: eat clean, sleep 8 hours, drink lots of water, and exercise, there are a few things I like to keep in my arsenal to give myself and clients that extra boost before a special event. I decided to put a list of products together that are fool proof and (most importantly) effective for a flawless make up application.

Ask any artist, beautiful make up can only look as good as the skin underneath it.

Days before:

Use a gentle exfoliant, mask or serum 2-3 times that week to get rid of any texture and enhance your glow. Use only once if you haven't been regularly using since it might dry your skin out further. Also, if you are getting a spray before the big day, don't use these after you're bronzed.

My favorites:

Ren Radiance Glycol Lactic Mask, $55. found here

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, $58. found here

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads, $15. found here

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10%, $7. found here

If you haven't already been using a nightly moisturizer, make sure you are really amping this up.

My favorites:

Josie Maran Argan Oil, $48. found here

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream, $28, found here

Clinique Turnaround Overnight Revitalizing, $41, found here

If you have problem skin, my recommendation is the Eminence Probiotic Mask, $54. found here

Day of:

Use a hydrating mask as well as an eye mask in the AM.

My favorites:

Too Cool For School Hydrating Sheet Mask, $6, found here

Tatcha Deep Hydration Lifting Sheet Mask, $25, found here

Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask, $55, found here

And last but not least my tried and true favorite eye mask:

Shiseido Benefiance Pure Retinol Eye Mask, packet of 3 for $17.50, found here.

Let me know if you have any new recommendations, try or have tried any of these products and don't forget to leave a comment in the section down below.

X,

Bored of "Instagram" Make Up

After a bit of self reflection on the style of my work I have come to the realization I am most comfortable and my best work is usually on the "softer side" of make up styles. Which is actually comica
